She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvel Pennington and Edith Pennington (Lewis); her daughter Brenda Wright; her grandson T. J. McGlothlin; her great grandchild Ethan Eckman; and her brother Jimmy Pennington.
She is survived by: her husband Jay E. Groff; her daughters, Cynthia (Dennis Eckman) and Sandy (Terry McGlothlin); her son-in-law Barry Wright; and her siblings, Arvella, Geri and John. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
