She was predeceased by: her husband Marlin F. "Toad" Herman; her parents, Arthur Gaskin and Mattie Coker Gaskin; and her siblings, Mary Lazott, Arthur and James Gaskin.
She is survived by: her children, Linda J. (John Brooks) of New Providence and Paul F. (Deserie Slesser Herman) of New Providence; and her sister Jeanette Sheetz of Marietta. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
