He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schrader and Anna Schrader (Potser); and his brother Donald Schrader. He is survived by: his wife Madeline R. Schrader (Uhlig); and his children, Robin Avrett (Warren) of Pineola, Stephen Schrader (Janet) of Fort Walton Beach, Todd Schrader (Ana) of Land O'Lakes, Richard Bitner (Heather) of Quakertown, Kenneth Bitner (Sherry) of Sarasota, Constance Hines (Steve) of Tavernier, Jonathan Bitner (William) of Cary, N. C. and Lawrence Schrader of Lansdale. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
