She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Hillegas; her parents, Howard Huber and Roberta Huber (Reese); and her sons, Edward and David.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Stanistreet and Robert Hillegas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
