She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley M. Gavel; and her parents, Frank Iwaniw and Fenia Iwaniw (Slawich). She is survived by: her children, Tom Gavel and Linda Bernoskie; her siblings, Theodore, Anna Ambrose and Helen Bowanko; her grandson David; and her great grandchild Julianna.
