He was predeceased by: his father Ernest C. Gross, Jr.; and his brother Michael N. Gross. He is survived by: his mother Doris E. Diehl (Gery); his stepfather Phillip W. Diehl; his children, Tara Gross, Kimberly Lordi (Patrick) and Karl Gross; his sisters, Charlotte Marks (David) and Sherry Salinos; and his grandchildren, Nyome, Mason and Jaxon.
