He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Loughrey and Marietta Loughrey (Laureyns); his grandson Brandon Covaleski; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Loughrey; and his brother-in-law Stan Novak.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne G. Loughrey; his children, Cathleen Covaleski (Kevin), Robert Loughrey, John Loughrey, III (Natalie) and Brian Loughrey; his daughter-in-law Sherry Loughrey; his sister-in-law Cheryl Novak; his grandchildren, Brianna Covaleski, Caitlyn Covaleski, Derek Loughrey (Victoria), Cullen Loughrey (Camryn), Aidan Loughrey, Shannon Loughrey and Liam Loughrey; his great grandchild Killian Loughrey; his brothers, Michael Loughrey (Sue) and Paul Loughrey; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kimberly Almedia (Vincent), Corrine Loughrey, April Loughrey, Christopher Novak (Lauren), Vinny Almedia, Noah Novak and Izzy Novak. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (821 W Broad St, Quakertown, PA 18951). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
