He was predeceased by: his wife Blanche Bergstresser (Hertzog); his parents, Elmer J., Sr. and Edna Bergstresser (Kremer); and his siblings, Paul and Elaine.
He is survived by: his children, Linda S. McKee (Gregg Youtzy) and David J., Sr. (Susan); and his grandchildren, David J. Jr., Thomas J., Mathew and Michelle. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
