He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Ackerman and Mabel K. Ackerman (Wieand); his wife Betty A. Ackerman; and his daughter Kelly A. Ackerman. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy A. Sullivan (Kevin); his grandchildren, William Sullivan and Morgan Sullivan; and his siblings, Stewart Ackerman (Nancy), Dorothy Merkle (Bill) and Linda Funk (Ron).
Viewing was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (821 W Broad St, Quakertown, PA 18951). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1565 Sleepy Hollow Rd, Quakertown, PA 18968).
