He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Swauger, and Sara Swauger, Sr.; his brothers, Dwight Swauger, Jr. and Earl Swauger; and his son-in-law Mickey Barron.
He is survived by: his close friend Diane Greisemer; his daughters, Debra Ficiak (Ronald), Mary Lou Harry and Victoria Barron; and his sister Sara Slentz (Gary). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
