With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carole Anne Matz of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Matz, Sr.; her parents, Harold Wood and Helene Wood (Fitzgerald); her granddaughter Jessica Lynn Wirth; and her sister Helene "Theresa" Barr.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara L. Wasko (Dean Landis) of Quakertown, PA, John M. Matz, Jr. (Marianne) of Perkasie, PA, Deborah L. Breiner (Bill) of Quakertown, PA and Norman G. Matz (Kristine) of Cheshire, CT; her grandchildren, Annette, Matthew, Andrea, Danielle, John, Julie, Michael, William, Natalie, Katrina and Alyssa; and her great grandchildren, Eva, Olivia, Malaia, Ben, Walker, Raylan, Abbie, Baillee, Eleanor, Thomas, Henry, Layla and Jolie.
