Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter Hurd of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 96, on September 17, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert H Hurd and Dove L. Hurd (Barrett); his wife Cloyann Freas; his brother Robert Radomsky; his wife Ruth A. Johnston; his sons, Richy A. Hurd and Wally L. Hurd; his grandson Brady Hurd; his stepchildren, David Rieg and Stephanie Rieg; and his siblings, Hugh, Herbert Hurd, Eleanor Norris, Sarah Scarano and Joann Radomsky.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Hurd (Wendy Deemer), Rick Hurd (Jill) of Jefferson, Maryland and Wendy Depp (Douglas); his daughters-in-law, Patricia Hurd of Emerickville and Dr. Lisa Witherite Rieg of Corsica; his son Mark Georgek; and his brother Glenn Hurd (Jennette) of Milesburg. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
