He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kolson and Helen Kolson (Dubensky); and his sister Evelyn Kopas. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Rae Wood; his children, Randall Kolson of Export, Kevin Kolson (Sherri) of Venice, Shari Gerlach (Greg) of Pittsburgh and Todd Kolson (Nicole) of Mars; his grandchildren, Taylor Kolson, Morgan Kolson, Zachary Gerlach, Olivia Gerlach, Kamryn Kolson, Kennedy Kolson and Kaden Kolson; his great grandchild Crew; and his siblings, Thomas Kolson (Janet) of Darlington, Madelyn "Mickey" Mesoraco (Patsi) of Delancey, Joan Kriser (Ron) of Delancey and Jean Koromaus (Ted) of Holidaysburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
