Shirley Sloniger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Sloniger (Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania), born in Ripley, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Wells and Vera Anna Wells (Newberry); her son Jim Sloniger; and her siblings, Nettie Bailey, Harriett Nelson, Edwin Wells, Edward Wells, Jay Wells and George Wells.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Eugene Sloniger; her children, Melinda Hosey (Ken) of Mayport, Ralph Sloniger of Punxsutawney, Anna Marie Reitz (Jim) of Chester, Tim Sloniger (Shirley) of Timblin and Cheri Sloniger of Punxsutawney; her grandchildren, Christy Stratton (Mike), Jenny Troyer (Stephen), Josh Hosey (Jennifer), Selina Scarpaci, Trent Sloniger, Travis Sloniger (Brittany), Ryan Reitz, Tyler Reitz, Jordan Sloniger and Jason Sloniger; and her sisters, Mary Wells (Bill) of Jamestown and Judy Marrianni of Florida. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
