It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara I. Vaneman (Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 23, 2018, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Edwards; her husband David R. Vaneman; her stepmother Lura Gill Edwards; her sisters, Leona Crenny, Prudence Matthews and Rheda Glaspay; and her grandson Daryl L. Baker.
She is survived by: her parent Grace Mayberry Edwards; her children, Carl Vaneman (Judy) of Punxsutawney, Mark Vaneman of New Castle and Nancy Baker (Richard) of New Castle; and her grandchildren, Jeff Baker, Suzanne Workman, Christopher Vaneman and Brandy Pizor. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
