She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Emberg; her husband William Adolf Burkhardt; and her siblings, Thelma Bianco, Ellen Gaston, Eugene Emberg, Leonard Emberg, Edwin Emberg and Edna Bish.
She is survived by: her son Donald Lee Burkhardt; and her sisters-in-law, Darlene Emberg and Marie Emberg. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of the donor's choice.
