She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Shilala and Anna Shilala (Valunas); her husband Peter "Lefty" Dubensky; and her sister Barbara Vessello. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammi Ifert (Jim) of Needmore and Wendy Heberling (Paul) of Punxsutawney; her grandchildren, Eric Heberling (Lauren), Staci Heberling, Jay Ifert (Liz) and Evan Ifert; and her great grandchildren, Peter, Ellie Ann and Ruby.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church.

“In loving memory of Sandra M Dubensky, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Sandra was always my "go-to-cousin" early in my life. She was such a wonderful inspiration. I was so honored when she asked me to be in her wedding party.The years did separate us physically, but I knew she was always there and we would reconnect as often as possible. I will miss her in this world but will certainly see her in next. Rest in peace dear cuz!”
