It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Bowser of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Coalburn Bowser; his wife Judy Kay Lingenfelter (Judy); his sister Alberta Ruth Wells; his stepsister Sandra London; and his stepmother Annabelle Bowser.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawnette Bowser of Punxsutawney and Candace Bowser of Punxsutawney; his siblings, Joyce Bowser of Erie, PA and George Bowser Jr. of Brookville, PA; his grandchildren, Devon Kessler of Punxsutawney, Alexis Miller (Jerad) of Punxsutawney and Haden Roy of Punxsutawney; and his great grandchildren, Drake Miller, Noah Miller and Jamenson Miller.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fait - D'Argy Funeral Home (117 N Jefferson St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
