She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Roxbury and Roberta Roxbury (Pomroy); and her brothers, Lawrence and James Roxbury. She is survived by: her husband Robert G. Mahan; her children, Daniel R. Mahan (Jacqui) of Camarillo, CA, Jennifer L. Sowizdrzal (Pete) of Willsboro, NY, Joseph E. Mahan (Tracey) of Punxsutawney, PA and Deana M. Lowmaster (Michael) of Big Run, PA; her grandchildren, Malachi Mahan (Erica), Jacob Mahan (Lacey), Kristin, Kaitlyn Lowmaster and Madison Mahan; her great grandchildren, Parker and Cooper Mahan; and her sister Judith Weaver. She is also survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fait - D'Argy Funeral Home (117 N Jefferson St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
