It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela J. Aaron of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, born in Distant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy M. Ortz (Henderson) and Blair M. Ortz; and her sons, Tad and Todd Aaron. She is survived by: her husband William "Doug" Aaron; her children, Janie L. Strawcutter (Robert) of Punxsutawney and Scott Aaron (Darlene) of Dubois; her grandchildren, Brittany Frye (Cullen), Derek Brown, Hunter Aaron, Jake Frank (Alexis), Jessica Frank and Emily Frank; and her siblings, Tom Ortz of Distant, Della Young of Distant, Tim Ortz (Michelle) of New Bethlehem and Anita Dougan (John) of Kittanning.
