Nathan Lauer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathan Lauer of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William Rugh, Jr., Kathryn Lauer (Simpson) and Lloyd Lauer. He is survived by: his parents, Brian Kent Lauer and Lou Ann Lauer (Rugh) of Punxsutawney; his wife Shawna Leigh Bevak; his stepchildren, Drew Bevak of Punxsutawney and Ethan Bish of Bossier City, Louisiana; his siblings, Shannon LaBorde (Chad) of Punxsutawney, Kasey R. Schaffer (Scott) of Reynoldsville and Cody Lauer of Punxsutawney; his nieces, Abigail and Brielle Schaffer; his nephew Brock LaBorde; and his grandmother Doris Rugh of Punxsutawney. He is also survived by extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Because Nathan loved animals so much, the family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Willow Run Animal Sanctuary, 381 E. Branch Road, Brookville, PA 15825.
