It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Adams of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, born in Timblin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Maurice W. Snyder; and her siblings, Claude, Dewey, Harold, Darrell, Marlin, Beryl Snyder, Geraldine Snyder, Ethel Campbell, Ruth Fiscus and Ruby Yarger.
She is survived by: her mother Veda Grace Adams (McGaughey); her husband Carl; her children, Linda Shaffer (Gary) of Punxsutawney, Rhonda Adams of Punxsutawney, Richard Adams of Johnstown and Valerie Freedline (Daryl) of Dayton; and her grandchildren, Thomas Shaffer of Punxsutawney and Nicholas Shaffer (Lacey) of Punxsutawney. She is also survived by one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
