He was predeceased by: his parents, Marty Schiel and Alberta Schiel (Whitt); and his brother Thomas Schiel. He is survived by: his wife Robin Elaine Sapolio; his children, Michael Thomas Schiel (Stephanie) of Punxsutawney, Rachael Hannah Huey of DuBois, Haley Suzanne Liscinsky (Chad) of Punxsutawney and Beth Nicole Trujillo (Jacob) of Hayden, Colorado; his grandchildren, Jacob, Aaron, Zachary Schiel, Brent, Madison, Deagen Huey and Hoyt Liscinsky; his sister Dolly Pratt-Waspi of Arizona; and his former wife Linda Schiel.
