He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalia Cekovsky (Zarechak) and John Cekovsky; his wife Doris Dorothy Cekovsky (Hritz); and his siblings, Mary Marince, Elizabeth Cekovsky, Rose Stoyek and John Cekovsky.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Cekovsky (Mark) of Colorado Springs, CO, Joan Kaza (James) of Alpharetta, GA, Michele Henry (Timothy) of Elizabethtown, PA, Michael of Irmo, SC, Tom (Rebecca) of Home, PA and David of Plantation, FL; his grandchildren, Nicholas T. Henry (Jessica) of Pittsburgh and Tatyana A. King of Lexington, KY; and his sister Julie Kopas of Easton, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Mr. Cekovsky, to the American Red Cross or to the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
