It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Burkett of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clair W. Martz and Clara Martz (Powell); her close friend Michael "Mike" Jerome Adams; her daughter Patricia Delynn Lellock; her great grandchild Sadie Mae Lou Allen; and her siblings, Irene Pierce and Donald Martz.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Kirk Burkett (Leslie), Jerry Paul Burkett and Jeffrey Paul Burkett (Roxanne); her son-in-law John Rodney Lellock; and her grandchildren, Clara Lou and Zacheriah. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
