She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hollenbaugh and Mary Hollenbaugh (Haire); and her brother Kenneth L. Hollenbaugh. She is survived by: her husband Vince Nelson of Punxsutawney; her daughters, Katie Luchsinger (Nelson) and Chloe Gonzalez (Nelson); and her siblings-in-law, Harvey Nelson of Punxsutawney, Vicki Yenzi of Punxsutawney and Pamela Hollenbaugh of North East, MD.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura's name to VNA Hospice Care.
