She was predeceased by: her father Wayne Shaffer; and her sister Terrie Shaffer. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Howell (Herstine); her husband Joel M. Martin; her son Alex Martin of Punxsutawney; her in-laws, Noel and Kathy Martin of Punxsutawney; her siblings, Debbie Hutman of Rochester, PA, Mike Shaffer (David) of St. Petersburg, FL and Christine Ludwig (Rodney) of West Virginia; and her brother-in-law Matthew Martin of Punxsutawney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Kelly, to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
