He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elizabeth Moore and James Edwards Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, James Edwards and Angela Edwards Jr. (Harris); his wife Tammy Blanchard (Selker); his children, Reginee Blanchard, Autum Held and Brent Held; and his siblings, Jared Messe, Justin Harris, Jadore Blanchard, Aivana Edwards-Alexander (J. P.), Sharon and Jamie Michelle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
