He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sikora and Vern Sikora (Mehok). He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Ed Sikora (Lisa) of Mahaffey, Michelle Zimmerman (Tom) of Punxsutawney and Joe Sikora, Jr.; his wife Ranee of Punxsutawney; his siblings, Ed Sikora (Marlene) of Dubois, Veronica Mitchell of Albany, Nancy Selzler (Dave) of Dubois, Pat Verostic of Punxsutawney and Anna Marie Moore (Dan) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Paul Wehrle (Becky), Jackie Sikora, Nicole Hetrick (Brilyn), Levi Sikora, Logan Brooks, Sydney Sikora, Ty Zimmerman, Tessa Zimmerman, Elizabeth Sikora, Jake Sikora and Chase Sikora; his great grandchildren, Alex Roy, Branson Roy, Lincoln Hetrick and Axel Hetrick; and also, Chris Sikora (Kelly) of Punxsutawney and Tony Sikora of Columbus, OH..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joseph's memory can be made to the Punxsutawney Lion's Club, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Cranio-facial Center, and Mulberry Square Elder Care activities department.
