It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Francis Gresock of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gresock and Clara Cerney Gresock; his siblings, William H. Gresock and Annabelle Bobalik of Punxsutawney; and his wife Dorothy L. Brown of Pittsburgh, PA..
He is survived by: his siblings, Andrew Gresock of Punxsutawney, Barbara Drury of Swartz Creek, MI, Mary Lou Gigliotti of Warren, PA and Marion Palmer of Corsica, PA.; his stepchildren, Barry Headlee (Lydia) and Sharon Heckler (Glen); and his stepgrandchildren, Christine Covatch (Tim) and Glen Heckler Jr. (Tara).
There will also be a funeral ceremony and interment which will be private at the request of the family. The funeral home requests that all visitors wear appropriate masks and maintain social distancing as per the latest mandates from Governor Wolf.
His family requests that any donations in John's honor be made to the St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church of Punxsutawney. 714 Sutton Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
