He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dwight Stewart and Martha Francis Stewart (Wright); his son James Zane Stewart; his grandson Shon Allen Hyde; and his siblings, Terry Stewart, Donald "Jiggs" Stewart, Wayne Stewart and Janet Painter.
He is survived by: his children, Gina Francine Nicholson (Michael) of Reynoldsville, Dwight Troy Stewart of Martinsville and Jerry Shon Stewart; and his sisters, Linda Reitz of Punxsutawney and Donna Mae Kanouff of Juneau.
