She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. McMillin and Effie Viola McMillin (Bence); her husband Harry Edward Smith; her daughter Christina Joyce Smith; and her son-in-law Christopher Scott Green.

She is survived by: her children, Angela Green (Henry), Douglas Smith (Heather) and James "Brad" Smith; her sister Marie Blackham; her grandchildren, TaQuen Smith (Jesse), Kyler Smith, Kadyn Smith, DaSean Davis-Smith, Dakotah Smith, JaOnna Green and Emmalee Smith; and her great grandchildren, Savanna Smith, Henry Smith and Scarlet Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
