It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Romaine McQuown of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Ellis DeShong; her husband Howard McQuown; her pet Tiny; her siblings, Dora Jean Craven, James "Jim" DeShong, Paul Maynard DeShong, John "Jack" DeShong and William "Butch" DeShong; her grandson Justin Earl Pitts; and her stepson Howard "Buddy" McQuown Junior.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Neely (Dana), Karen Everson (Dwayne) and Lois Tombs (Dave); her stepchildren, Bill McQuown (Kelly), Peggy Griffith (Doug) and Brenda Shipley (Jim); her siblings, Shirley Ann Gilbert, Terry DeShong (Diane) and Randy DeShong; her grandchildren, Brandi Cary (Mark Mancuso), Victor Balbo, Tracey Balbo, Bethany Raynes and Trent Tombs; her great grandchildren, Skylar Burkett (Mary), Madison Cary, Taylor Cary and Felix Raynes; and her great great grandchildren, Hampton Kotula, Harmony Love and Baby Hilliard.
