Janet C. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet C. Smith of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Janet departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Janet. Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret A. Corbett (McKillip) and John R. Corbett; her siblings, Oscar Corbett, George, John Corbett and Olive Corbett; and her sister-in-law Mary Corbett.
She is survived by: her husband Gene A. Smith; and her siblings, Thomas Corbett (Linda) of Brookville, RuthAnn Kirkman (Larry) of Brookville and Evelyn Banda of Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
