He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Shine" Umbaugh and Janet Umbaugh (Schrecengost); his wife Emma Umbaugh (Pifer); and his sisters, Frances Rimer, Grace Frederick, Betty Umbaugh and Alice M. Umbaugh.
He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Lellock (Jerry) of Rossiter; his grandchildren, Amber Soller (Tanner) of Bulter and Dakota Lellock of Rossiter; his great grandchildren, Molly and Jonah Soller of Butler; and his siblings, Irene Smith, Dorothy Hunt, Katherine Means, Linda Umbaugh, Jane Wulfert, William Umbaugh and Robert Umbaugh. He is also survived by his wife and their son-in-laws parents.
