He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Ernest Friend and Dolly Friend (Bolyard); his brothers, John Friend and Orville Friend; and his mother-in-law Arlene Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Shawnee; his daughters, Tonya Milton (Dan) of Punxsutawney, Tennelle Dienes (Paul) of Rochester Mills, LeShawna Greenawalt (PJ) of Punxsutawney, LeTrisha Herr (Chip) of Lititz, PA and Jackie; his parent-in-law Fairchance; his grandchildren, Sierra Milton-Yamber (John), Tristan Shumaker, Austin Milton, Tanner Goulish, Neve Coble, Bella Dienes, Kiah Greenawalt, Jesse Milton, Araya Herr (Nayeli Herr) and Mela Greenawalt; his great grandchildren, Jackson Milton, Leo Yamber and Indie Yamber; and his father-in-law Harold Anderson, Sr. of Punxsutawney.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers and dementia or cancer research foundation of choice.
