It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Glenn McQuown (Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn McQuown and Anna McQuown (States); and his brother Dwight McQuown. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Deshong); his children, Howard McQuown, Jr. (Kristin), Bill McQuown (Kelly), Peggy Griffith (Doug) and Brenda Shipley (Jim); his stepdaughters, Rhonda Neely (Dana), Lois Tombs (Dave) and Karen Everson (Dwayne); and his siblings, Wilmer McQuown, Dale McQuown (Rosita), Betty Blood (Barry) and Louise Winchell.
Interment will also be private at the request of the family. Due to current government mandates dealing with covid – the funeral home must limit the number of visitors to a maximum of 10 people at a given time although all will have the opportunity to say a final farewell to Howard and to visit with this family.
