Hicks of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, born in Timblin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cozie V. Geist (Troutman) and Paul S. Geist; her husband Jack B. Hicks; her in-laws, Boyd and Velma Hicks; her siblings, Clair Geist (Elsie), James Geist (June), Harold Geist (Isabella), Marie Newcome (Orvis), Ethel Shantz (Russell) and Paul "Jum" Geist; and her brother-in-law Hugh Elkin.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Aufderklam (Bruce) of Brockport, Mary Ross (Don) of Punxsutawney, Jack B. Hicks, Jr. (Lynn) of Punxsutawney, Kay Mennetti (Joe) of Punxsutawney, Dan Hicks (Kasie) of Punxsutawney and David Hicks (Heather) of Punxsutawney; her grandchildren, Shawn Becker (Michele), Sherry Snyder (Mike), Shana Barnes (Tom), Donnie Ross (Emily), Jesse Hicks (Sarah), Colin Hicks (Jenna), Dana Bowser (Tom), Kayla Stiglitz (Brian), Connor Hicks, Jordann Hicks, Brynn Hicks and Bailee Hill (Cody); her siblings, Robert Geist (Linda) of Coolspring and Lois Elkin of Punxsutawney; her niece Shirley; and her sister-in-law Nancy Geist. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
