With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ginar Joseph Rich of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ginar's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ginar has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rich and Amelia Rich (Constantino); and his brother-in-law Francis Baran. He is survived by: his wife Darlene J. Baran; his daughter Ann Pearce (Kenneth) of Punxsutawney; and his sister-in-law Karen Baran.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. (115 E Union St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church (616 W Mahoning St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767).
