It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Walter Pearce of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Pearce and Billie Patricia Pearce (Wazelle); his brother Robert Pearce; his nephews, Bobby and Jason Pearce; and his niece Kayla Schaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Holly Grusky (Roy) of Spring, Melissa Pearce of Reynoldsville and George W. Pearce, II of Punxsutawney; his grandchildren, Emma, Jeremy Grusky, Brandon, Trent and Leah Pearce; his great grandchild Hudson; and his siblings, Lucy Null (Steve) of Reynoldsville, Patricia Elkin (Jay) of Shelocta, Angel Gallina (Rich) of Reynoldsville, Tom Pearce (Janet) of Home and Kevin Pearce of Reynoldsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in George's memory to a local volunteer fire company.
