She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene B. Mercer and Anna Ruth Waltman; her husband David John Young; her grandson Denis Watt; and her siblings, Robert Mercer, James Mercer, Donald Mercer, Thomas Mercer, Joe Young Jr., Bill Young and Eleanor Metzinger.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Ferguson Jr. (Lynn) of Punxsutawney, Annaruth C. Sanner of Punxsutawney, Marie (Scott Clark), Roy Ferguson (April) of Punxsutawney and David M. Ferguson of Lockport, NY; and her siblings, Allen Young (Donna) of Big Run, Marie Graff (Ray) of Tonawanda, NY and Robin Wawrzyniak (Carl) of Lackawanna, NY. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
