He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Kanouff and Dorothy Inez Kanouff (Sutter); his son Douglas Kanouff; and his siblings, Mervin Winters, Ronald Kanouff, Terry Kanouff and Shirley Jean Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Stewart; his children, Debbie McMahan (Dennis) of Punxsutawney, Cheri Yount (Darl "Butch") of Punxsutawney and Lonny W. Kanouff of Punxsutawney; and his grandchildren, Michael McMahan (Sherri), Mandy McMahan, Shayne Yount, Corry Yount and Trevor Yount (Tiffany). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
