She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Elbell and Elsie Elbell (Brunner); and her siblings, Lucille Baker, Imogene Hazlett, Alice "Aggie" Varner, Ruth Packer and Joseph Elbell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at Brickell Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Cloe United Methodist Church or Just Us for the Animals.
