He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Halin and Annetta Halin. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Boudreau (Tom) of Scott Township and Stephanie Lasoski (Steve) of Erie; and his brother John Peter "Pete" Halin (Sandy) of North Huntington.

In lieu of flowers, it is requested that any memorial gifts be made to his favorite charities - Four Footed Friends in Indiana, Pa., Willow Run Animal Sanctuary in Coolspring, the Salvation Army or the local food bank.
