It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Vanderpool (Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 18, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Mae Vanderpool; and his siblings, Edward Vanderpool and Bessie Bair. He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Vanderpool (Susie) of Salem, VA., Karen Burinda (Wayne) of Wentzville, MO., Elaine Chiplis (Bill) of Punxsutawney, Gary Vanderpool (Toni) of DuBois and Eddy Vanderpool (Terry) of Punxsutawney; and his grandchildren, Dave Vanderpool, Dana Callaway, Mike Vanderpool, Leroy Grusky, Traci LaPrade, Julie Baun, Scott Vanderpool, Jesse Chiplis, Krystin Pogue, Chad Chiplis and Tony Chiplis.
