He was predeceased by: his parents, John Laird Hollis and Helen Olive Hollis (Yoder); and his siblings, Peggy Neal, Sara Edge and James Hollis.
He is survived by: his wife Memoree LeCompte; his children, Bonnie Poling of Indiana, Jason Hollis of Gallitzin and Warren Hollis (Priscilla) of Punxsutawney; his siblings, John Hollis (Ruth Ann) of Johnstown, Tim Hollis (Jeanice) of Panama City, Florida, Amy Taladay (Matt) of Punxsutawney and Molly Hollis of Punxsutawney; his mother-in-law Dorothy LeCompte; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Grube (Jonny) and David LeCompte. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. (115 E Union St, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
