It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Zurenda Sr. of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Wanda Delancey; his granddaughter Angel Zurenda; and his sisters, Opal Genoevesi and Eleanor Williams. He is survived by: his wife Ida Mae Williams; his children, Peggy Zurenda of Oregon, Daniel A. Zurenda, Jr. (Trisha) of Punxsutawney, Sue Zurenda (Dan Rinker), Richard Zurenda (Aracelis) of South Carolina, Doug Zurenda of Punxsutawney, Cheryl Zurenda of DuBois, Sharon Wright (Jamie) of Glen Campbell, April Zurenda (Roy Ferguson), Anita Zurenda (Shawn Simpson), Dana Brooks (Thomas) of Punxsutawney and Halona Zurenda (Phillip Hannold); and his sister Tressa Zurenda. He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
