He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence J.; his wife Bonnie Fortsch (Custer); and his siblings, John Fortsch, Thomas Fortsch and Sally Ann Fortsch.
He is survived by: his parent Sara Fortsch (Benson); and his stepdaughters, Barbara Black (Stanley) of Punxsutawney, Patricia Manchua (Ed) of New York, Karen McCauley of Punxsutawney and Paula Warnick (Trace) of Chicago. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
