He was predeceased by: his parent Elva Buffington (Kellar); and his siblings, John, Edward, Ronald and Sandy.
He is survived by: his parent John W. Buffington; his spouse Mildred A. "Milly" Buffington (Carney); his children, Julie A. Clark (Terry) of Punxsutawney, David P. Buffington of Brookville, Kenneth J. Buffington of Punxsutawney and Richard A. Buffington (Sherry) of Punxsutawney; his grandchildren, Terry Clark, Jr., Dylan Buffington, Sydney Buffington, Aimee Buffington, Kyle Buffington, Richard Buffington and Alex Buffington; his great grandchildren, Cayson, Jeremy, Asher and Mason; his brother James Buffington; and also, Ice Cream and Candy Store. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
