It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Adams of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl Adams to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Adams and Florence Adams (Hawk); and his siblings, Mervin, Clair, Boyd, Russell Adams, Charles Shick, Esther Kunselman, Edith Snyder and Mona Smithberger.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Snyder; his children, Linda Shaffer (Gary) of Punxsutawney, Rhonda Adams of Punxsutawney, Richard Adams of Johnstown and Valerie Freedline (Daryl) of Dayton; his grandchildren, Thomas D. Shaffer of Punxsutawney and Nicholas Shaffer (Lacey) of Punxsutawney; his sister Doris Smouse of Wellsboro; and his brother-in-law Dale Smithberger of Lorraine, Ohio. He is also survived by one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, there will be no public services.
